Still Alive

I am still alive but I haven't been adding to this much. I had found the military rescue task force. They have taken me and 8 other survivors to a safe haven that they call. Section 8. It is one of the only places in the city where the infection has not hit. This may be due to the high walls and giant gate. We have been given time to do a few things like write or play but there is not much else to do. I have used my time to make sure that other survivors get the message that there are people who are safe.

New Hope

I have just come across the body of some guy. He is probably about my age, 15 or so. I am carrying on his legacy. Okay, Firstly I am Glen. I survived by just hiding until help came but I soon realised that there was no help coming so I started getting food from my neighbours houses. This is the 4th house I searched and that is how I found him. Ill never get used to the sight of death. Today I have to make sure I can get everything back to my house safely.

Still at School

He still waqs banging at the door when I help it closed and pushed a table in front of it. I know how this works. The bit infects you and so on. I feel like I know what to do if I had the confidence to do it. First I need to establish a base until I am able to get a mode of transport. I looked around the class after sitting there for hours on end. I needed a weapon as it was dark and the lights were off. All i had found was a hammer that was in the draw of tools in the teachers desk that was open. Good enough for now but I don't think I will kill anything with this but just knock it out of my way. It's now or never I have to run for it.

School

I got to school and most people had not turned up. It is a bit early and the libary is open. I checked there first but still I saw no one. I tried the D block in our school to see ifmy form tutor was there. I saw one person as I looked in the class. Some kid from the year below. I tried to say hi to him but he just groan as I aproached him. He lunged at me with a punch as I shoved him back against the wall as he fell groaning. I ran into the classroom and held the door closed.
